Specialized therapy intended to alleviate problems caused by inner ear disorders. Some people may experience vertigo when sudden turn the head or get up from bed. Some people may have the dizziness and headache that bothering their lifestyles such as feel the whole room spinning when get into a crowded place or due to the lighting of the room.
Trained vestibular therapist asked specific questions related to vertigo condition and carry out physical examination (such as Dix-hal pike, balance assessment) to find out the main problem.

Common conditions treated:
1. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo
2. Vestibular hypofunction
3. Chronic dizziness
4. Migraine

Depend on the related vestibular problems, trained vestibular therapist asked specific questions related to vertigo condition and carry out physical examination (such as Dix-hal pike, balance assessment) to find out the main problem.

Treatment that commonly needed are:
1) Habituation exercise: To improve the dizziness tolerance
2) Canalith repositioning therapy such as semont maneuvre, brandt daroff maneuvre and etc.
3) Gaze stabilization: To improve double vision, gaze stability and visual ocular reflex.
4) Balance training : To improve stability when standing and walking.
5) Education: To ensure clients understand their condition and progress to self-management especially for chronic dizziness and migraine.
6) Fall prevention: To reduce fall risk especially for aging population
